ESPERANZAS UNIDAS "United Hope"

Esperanzas Unidas is a Honduran-based nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering the women and children of rural Honduras. 

Led and organized by women, Esperanzas Unidas is working to create a flourishing new generation of women leaders in Honduras. 

Esperanzas Unidas uses bamboo to transform the opportunities available for the youth and women in rural Honduras. Esperanzas Unidas is the nucleus for the community -  educational scholarships, workshops,  youth leadership development, entrepreneurial training,  and micro businesses for women. All of our projects uplift the community through a self-sufficient design, creating a lasting change.

Whether you are in the United States, Honduras, or elsewhere – there are so many ways to support the work of Esperanzas Unidas. Sponsor a scholarship youth, contribute to one of our new community centers, travel to Honduras to volunteer alongside our members and create the change with your own hands.
